Loris Malaguzzi was an Italian early childhood educator and philosopher who founded the Reggio Emilia approach. He believed as we do that a child is the master of their learning, and in saying so, must be exposed to the right educational, psychological, and sociological influences. An educator’s main task is to create opportunities for a child that encourage ‘self-expression, logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication’.
Our number one aim and mission as educators at Little Ropers Learning is to provide your child with these golden opportunities. To create an environment where they can openly take charge and navigate through their learning from a very young age.
At its core, the Reggio Emilia philosophy is based upon Malaguzzi’s powerful image of the child being “rich in potential, strong, powerful, competent, and most of all connected to adults and other children.“
